High temp after update

Hi. Today i did firmware update and amp is hot evwrywhere even on 20% power. Before i had maximum room temp without no hot spot in any case. Is there any possibility put in old firmware or revert update?

Try restarting, it might possibly solve your problem.

Did restart, factory reset, also wiim support revert firmware. Today i came home and amp was warm. True us, that now is just warm not hot as 2 days ago after update.

what's the ambient temp in your location? it shouldn't be warm when it's on standby unless i'm missing something?? can other owners confirm the findings here. not an amp owner personally

20° C ambient temperature.
Temperature in stand-by: ~25° C
Temperature after playing Radio Paradise Main Mix for 15 Minutes at 50% volume: ~28° C

Just plugged mine into a power meter. At idle with nothing playing consumption is 10W. When it enters standby it sits at 5W for a minute or two before falling to 3W.

I had very similar readings in the past, with somewhat older firmware, though.

Is it on standby? Mine reaches around 46 C after a couple of hours playing music in an ambient of around 20-21C

It should be 5W initially falling to 3W.

When did you measure 49 C

And which parameter are you monitoring? "temperature_cpu"?

I get 36° C with a case temperature of 27° C. 49° C temperature_cpu is completely harmless.

I thought you said it was hot on standby. Temperature while playing will depend on volume level.

No, standby Temperaturen is okay, power consumption is 5 w. Volume Level is max. 25%.
