Hi all, I've got a Wiim Pro Plus (I used to run JRiver of a silent PC). From what I understand the analog outs cannot be active at the same time as the digital out. Given that, whats the best way to feed some external subwoofers?

My setup is the following:
WiiM > DAC (via digital out) > Integrated amplifier

I suppose I could splice the analog outs from the DAC to the integrated and run RCAs to the subwoofer amps
Another option is to take speaker level signal to the subwoofer amps given they support speaker level inputs

If I have to I guess I can go back to JRiver and create a secondary zone to drive another audio device but the WiiM is smaller and more tidy. Anyway figured I'd ask if anyone has some ideas and what they've done with the WiiM and subwoofers. Screenshot from 2025-10-13 14-20-08.png

A couple of other options:
Another wiim, in a wiim group, for the subs. Group playback is capped at 48khz.
Amplifier pre out.

Oh interesting, I didnt know you could group WiiMs. Can the other WiiM be a mini? I guess I can look it up, but great to know about this option!

I suppose one caveat with using a wiim group is that you'd have to use only the wiims to control the volume.
Both can be changed as one, but it does limit your options.
