Yes, it can be voice-controlled via an external Google/Nest Audio device. Can it be voice controlled in Google Home environment?
Hi LinkUser, TeamThank you BillyBird for clearing that up!
That was what I expected It’s the same technology (Linkplay = WIIM = Audio Pro)
Thanks for clarifying that, as I thought the equality was an over simplificationHi LinkUser, Team
The equation Linkplay = WiiM = Audio Pro isn't entirely accurate. There are numerous features on WiiM and WiiM Edition devices that aren't available on other Linkplay products, largely due to the frequent updates WiiM provides. Additionally, the Audio Pro app cannot guarantee future compatibility with WiiM devices. The best way to use WiiM/WiiM Edition devices is through the WiiM Home App, which is frequently updated alongside the device firmware to fix bugs and introduce new features. Hope this helps clarify things!
For me that means that it cannot be voice controlled.Yes, it can be voice-controlled via an external Google/Nest Audio device.
Just to clarify - I installed the Audio Pro app solely to test a question raised above. Audio Pro app now uninstalled.Hi LinkUser, Team

You might be able to use the google assistant app to voice control it, although when I tried it yesterday I had to put the device in a room of its own and play to the room. Plus I don’t think it supports voice control of Amazon Music which makes it a no go-er for me…For me that means that it cannot be voice controlled.
I cannot replace a Google speaker with this one if I need the voice control.
I wonder..audio pro is a company which stands for quality but als wireless connectivity.
Will there be more from WIIM and Audio pro?
Will the other models have an update..so that they have all the functionality, updates through the WIIM app?
Is this possible a ' older, speaker model will get this update?
Well see..for now in looking forward when the speakers will be available in Europe.
Thanks for clearing this up.Hi LinkUser, Team

I emailed AudioPro support last week about the forthcoming WiiM edition of the A10 (as I have 3x vanilla A10s already), and they had never heard of the WiiM edition. I remain interested in understanding the real actual differences, as I suspect it's just custom firmware.Doesn't look like existing Audio Pro speakers will get the WiiM update (see comment #10) if that's what you mean
How can that be they never heard of it? Maybe call them.., it seems they now but won,t tell? Meanwhile we still need some fixes to basic functionality of the app, like proper que management and shuffle play...
There are also EQ presets as well as graphic and parametric settings. Upcoming patent-pending features unique to WiiM will soon include Automatic Room Correction and Advanced Bass Management

They are available as i understand..not in Europe yet.
Look it up on the internet and there you have the proof there is an WIIM edition. Call them i would say..with this proof beside you.
Strange Audio pro say they don,t know...they know but maybe the person who emailed you back wasn,t well informed. I think he,she should be..
A Wiim edition as mentioned in this article.

As mentoined on Amazon..works with Wiim..there you see the audio pro is recognized within the wiim app.
Model Name C10 MKII-WiiM Edition Speaker
Wiim is a app that works very well..and its very important. The support is very good. Hardware is important..very important but the same can be said about the software, support that comes with the hardware.
Thanks for you,re reply. I must say in my opinion i can,t understand they don,t know. I assume the person who send the email was,t well informed. As far as Amazon.us is concerned, the WiiM Edition is a product sold by WiiM, not by AudioPro. (The WiiM Edition does not exist in the official AudioPro store.)
So I wouldn't be surprised if the AudioPro support people didn't know about it (yet).
Needless to say, many companies only support the products they sell.

As you say support didn,t know about it ( yet).
I think he,she should know.
But thats my opinion.
Is a brand with passion then you should know all about it. Thats what i think.

Thank you again for you,r reply Wiimer. As always highly appreciated.Yes, please do not misunderstand me, I am not arguing against you.
However, if Linkplay is responsible for all support of the WiiM editions, I think AudioPro may not be involved in this product at all.
Hopefully @WiiM Support, @RyanWithWiim can clarify this point.
Youre right. Hardware is different. Its a Wiim edition not the same as the 'regular' audio pro version.Comment #10 suggests there are hardware differences too
I may have worded it wrong...Thank you again for you,r reply Wiimer. As always highly appreciated.
Do you think they are not involved at all? Cant imagine they aren,t.
Maybe Wiim support,or RyanwithWiim can say more about this ,you are right.
