Test conditions:

volume limiter at 95% - 3 dB of possible headroom
SMPTE test signal close to the full scale
resampling from 96 kHz and 88.2 kHz to 48 kHz
digital domain

Case 1 - fixed resolution set at 48/24

88.2/16

TD+N and graphs are similar.

TD+N and graphs are no longer similar. Performance is worse in 24 bit for non-integer conversion.

Case 2 - forced resampling to 48/24 in multiroom

88.2/16 - clipping

Conclusion - resampling quality is much worse when forced in the multiroom mode.

clipping conditions ( and other confusing behaviors) that I also encountered..annoyed me...I didn't insist...it's up to wiim to keep an eye and control...it's the height of irony that it's the customers who take care of that....
