I’ve tried 3 different optical cables for my WiiM Mini and can’t get a snug connection with any of them. It’s always a loose fit. Still works but cables can fall out easily. Wondering what cables will snap in for a snug fit.
Yes, I initially tried older ones from Poundland, that I had used on other devices, and they tended to be a poor fit in the WiiM, but since trying the supplied ones, I have had no problems since.

The Wiim cable fits nicely and is also one of the few that will pass 24/192. But, I found it did not fit well with my DAC. I ended up buying a Pro and using coax output for this exact reason. The mini is now used in a secondary application using analog out. I will say that the cutouts for the coax are too small for some coax cables though.

This morning I connected a Belkin sound form to my ultra to use airplay. Used the usb on the ultra for power and the optical cable that came with my ultra. Works like a charm. Sounds perfect.
