Presets 5-8 now available from the remote 2!

In a previous post above @Wiimer user said he too has it working on the Ultra if I'm not mistaken.
Maybe try to erase and re-add presets 5-8?

Interesting, I didn't do anything special, no reboots or re-pairing of the Remote 1 was necessary, I just picked it up and tried it and it works on the Ultra, running firmware v5.2.721349. All of my presets are internet radio stations.

In the world of truly bizarre, this is now no longer working when yesterday it surely was. Today when I double press the Remote 1 buttons I only get Presets 1-4. For sure it worked last night when I first tried it.

It hasn’t been mentioned in the app release notes, but apparently now quickly double-pressing buttons 1 to 4 on the remote starts presets 5 to 8 (at least on my Amp Ultra). This is absolutely great news — a highly anticipated feature that finally makes the presets truly usable. Many thanks to the Wiim Team for this!

Probably a bit early to say. WiiM will no doubt announce the feature when it’s ready for both the original remote and the new one.

The old remote has learned a new trick, which proofs proves that it's not a dog.

I think I have to be a little faster with the double click to be recognised than with the new Voice Remote 2.

It also works with my black RC with only updating everything to the latest firmware (WiiM Ulta+WiiM Vibelink Amp) [RC firmware is version 54]

Wow, just found out about this. Works with my original remote and Ultra. Now I'll reorder my presets, which I use both for radio stations and PEQ settings. Now I can separate them: single press for stations and double-press for smart presets. Much simpler to remember (once I "forget" my current assignments).

Please don't stop at double tap. There's 12 saved presets - add triple click to access all 12 via the remote please.
