OK but functionality should be the same.I am not sure what you mean, but WHA can identify Remote 1 and 2.

Maybe some firmware changes on the remotes?OK but functionality should be the same.
Mine are ver 32 and 39, but 32 did not work. I don't know how to update the remote 2 firmware...
Yes, all my Remote 1 are also 53!On my Ultra, the original remote shows up as version 53!
Hmm, mine is version 41. I wonder how and when it updates. It very rarely gets used.Yes, all my Remote 1 are also 53!
They seem to be updated automatically![]()
Please try re-pairing your remote and leaving the Amp on standby.Hmm, mine is version 41. I wonder how and when it updates. It very rarely gets used.
I selected "Forget Remote" then re-paired it but I didn't need to put the remote into pairing mode, it connected automatically. Should I put it into pairing mode? Please try re-pairing your remote and leaving the Amp on standby.
I connected a Remote 2 (ver 32) to Amp Ultra as a test, and 30 minutes later I looked at WHA and it had been updated to Ver 39 automatically. Double-clicking works fine.
This Remote 2 has been connected to Amp Pro since yesterday, but it didn't update automatically.
I assume from this result that perhaps the remote is auto updated by the firmware of the device?
It is probably fine as it is.I selected "Forget Remote" then re-paired it but I didn't need to put the remote into pairing mode, it connected automatically. Should I put it into pairing mode?
I have raised a ticket to ask if the Remote firmware gets updated. It is probably fine as it is.
But I don't know if it will be updated...
Well I have an answer. I left the Amp on for a while with the Remote active and now the remote is on version 53It is probably fine as it is.
But I don't know if it will be updated...
That version allows the double tapping for presets 5-8?Well I have an answer. I left the Amp on for a while with the Remote active and now the remote is on version 53![]()
No idea, I have no presets. Other posts say the double tapping only works for the new Remote 2.That version allows the double tapping for presets 5-8?
I confirmed and does not work…No idea, I have no presets. Other posts say the double tapping only works for the new Remote 2.
Just to be sure... when you refer to WiiM Voiceremote 2 you're talking about this one:WiiM Voiceremote 2 and WiiM Ultra also support double tapping for presets 5 to 8.
So it's definitely not limited to the WiiM Amp Ultra.
I'll be trying the old remote with the Amp Ultra later and expect this to not work. Let's wait and see ...
That's probably my fault since my remote was still on version 41 and everybody else seemed to be on 53Somewhere on this thread I had the (I belive wrong) idea that the first remote would work with a >version of firmware![]()
My Ultra did not work..WiiM Voiceremote 2 and WiiM Ultra also support double tapping for presets 5 to 8.
