Qobuz Qobuz Connect released

Update -- was able to install the Android Qobuz app v. 9.0.0.0 by activating the "beta" option for the app in Play Store. About 10 minutes later the app updated from 8.6.1.1 to the 9.0.0.0 version on my phone and the Qobuz app was then able to see my Wiim devices. The app does indicate that it's a beta version on the icon.

I'm wondering about that. When I do multiroom streaming through the WHA it's always limited to CD quality. When I stream via QC to grouped speakers, both the Qobuz app and the WHA are reporting HD resolutions. This is very nice if true, but I'm not sure why there is a difference.
I think that’s a display bug in the WiiM Home App as my amp/DAC shows 24/48 when grouped for both my ultra and pro plus, and perhaps Qobuz Connect isn’t aware that Linkplay groups will downsample to 24/48 so displays the source resolution

Maybe explains why I got it “early” as I had been on the beta but had left it.

Why should there be any difference? Streaming via QC is the same as streaming via WHA.
I could see the actual bitrate in the WHA..that,s what I meant.
Not the bitrate of the album..
Because the bitrate van vary.
Anyone understand what i mean?
It's not that important..it's about the music 😊👍

So glad QC is working perfectly here..😊🎶🎶

Working well with Pro Plus and iPhone 14+. But song controls aren’t reliably showing up on the lock screen. Sometimes there. Sometime not. I haven’t read this entire thread. Anyone else experiencing this?

So... this may have been asked but now we are no longer in Beta Test phase do I go back to using the non-beta version of Qobuz Mac OS app and the Non-beta version off WiiM firmware? According to the WHA I'm still using 4.8.7... (beta)...

To stop the music you can stop it in the Q app or the WHA (WiiM Home app). I never turn off the WiiM devices but if you do, turning off the amp (standby) it will also stop the Q playback.
Thanks..
QC is working perfectly..very happy with it.

Since I still didn't receive the update for Android, I tried to do as you said. I activated the Beta in the Play Store and finally I was able to receive the update with Qobuz Connect. Now the Qobuz icon has a Beta written on it. Let's hope this Beta doesn't cause any problems. Not for Qobuz Connect, but in general. Thanks for the tip ;)

It‘s a known „issue“ based on iOS and won‘t be resolved, as I heard. I am missing this, too.

In my case (Android phone) I can't simply stop the music in the Q app because it keeps playing since the queued songs are still "alive" in WHA (no communication between the two??)
And weirdly enough i have no more access to the queue in WHA, so i just can stop the music but can't erase the queue

That worked for me as well. Icon is Qobuz Beta, but version is 9.0.0.0.
