I’m hoping that will be achieved with a firmware update unless those devices have been abandoned. What about Audio Pro devices collaborated with the WiiM?
Do you ever experience this when using a different device as the controller?I experienced a small problem with QC streaming via Wifi on my Honor Android tablet. Sometimes, and randomly, the music stops and resumes after two or three seconds of silence. Not very often, but it happens and it's a bit annoying. I have a fiber line and have never had a lack of connection.
Does this happen to anyone else? I have also opened a ticket
MhhhhDo you ever experience this when using a different device as the controller?
Exactly. Unlike the apps, it’s possible to write chrome extensions to customize the web app to add features such as AI integration.
For example, there are many albums on Qobuz with no reviews at all, and there are no links to external reviews. With a Chrome extension and Gemini AI, we can add both...

Just me playing for now. Maybe at some point, but very limited as it will require each user to get their own Gemini developer id.I'm not seeing any Gemini content render on the Credits pop-up. Is that not yet slipstreamed into the extension?
Ah, that makes sense. Very cool integration!Just me playing for now. Maybe at some point, but very limited as it will require each user to get their own Gemini developer id.
How to get this version?Yep, version 9.0.0.0 on Android, from release notes "Qobuz Connect (first release)"; I'm away from home right now so can't confirm if everything is working fine (hope so!)
Alternative repos like APKPure. How to get this version?
Found one. Thank you!!Alternative repos like APKPure.
I spent all yesterday evening steaming high resolution music from the Qobuz app on my iPad Pro via Qobuz Connect to the WiiM Pro. Not a glitch and it sounded excellent. One thing I’m not clear about is the relative pros and cons of using the Qobuz app vs the WiiM app, can anyone help?
Wondering when it's available on the regular playstoreAlternative repos like APKPure.
I think Qobuz have said it’s being gradually rolled out, maybe initially to beta testers then members of the Qobuz Club, but I’m sure they’ll ramp up release as quickly as they can. I think the formal launch (rather than this “soft” launch) will happened at the Munich High End show so I’d expect wider availability by then.Wondering when it's available on the regular playstore
Doesn't Qobuz Connect use the phone hardware volume controls? One more comment -- after using Connect for a couple of days, I think the oddest deficiency is the extra step needed to reach the volume slider. The screen that shows the album cover lets you play/pause and go forward/back or even adjust where you are in a track, but you can't adjust the volume until you select the "device" screen. Easily and quickly adjusting volume is a high priority for me. The other oddity is that the device screen is often very slow to populate.
I understand that some people like the ability to play music from their Qobuz subscription on someone else's stereo. That might be a nice feature at a stereo store if they had compatible equipment available, but it has been several years since I've done that and the last time I simply bought in a USB stick that had thousands of my favorite tracks on it. I still prefer the Wiim or LMS apps for selecting and playing music on my home stereo, though I am happy for Qobuz that they've finally officially released the app they've been working on for several years now.
