Hi everyone, I'd like to use RoomFit for my 2-channel stereo system.
Could you advise me on how to start adjusting RoomFit settings?

I believe @Wiimer mentioned this function was implemented in one of the beta FWs at some point, do I remember that correctly? If so, strange that it still didn't make it to the official release.

It would be really great to have the option to just measure the current response of individual channels directly from WHA, to be able to visualize the effects of both RoomFit and EQ. As you said, it can be done with REW but it is significantly less convenient.

Yeah, the beta version had an 'Evaluate & Apply' button where I could evaluate.

Is there any reason why this feature was removed?
We hope it will be restored.
 
It's now possible to manually edit a RoomFit profile. That is nice but how do I check if the edit improved the profile?

I would like to be able to rerun the verification part of the RoomFit on the edited profile, to see the new frequency response graph.

Is that possible? I haven't found any way to do that.

PS: I know that I could use REW but that would require a PC with an attached microphone in the same room as the WiiM/loudspeakers. I don't have that.
The option to rerun the verification is coming. This is the message from Support:

I just bought and connected an SVS SB-1000 Pro subwoofer to my current setup consisting of a WiiM Amp Ultra and a pair of Elac DB63s.

I followed some of the guidances I read about in these and other threads: speakers are 5 cm from the wall, sub is on the floor close to one of the speakers.
Crossover is set at 80 Hz.

I ran roomfit and got a curve like this;

I'm wondering what the dip and spike around 40-50 Hz mean?

How far is your sub from either side wall?
Putting the sub in a room corner would probably help with the dip. Spikes/peaks are generaly not a problem - RoomFit can easily fix those (as you saw).

About 1.5m from one wall, about 1.8m from the other. I will need to relocate some furniture if I want to be able to put it in a corner. (and buy a longer RCA cable)

That’s an intense 8KHz peak; my ears would bleed! Does it actually sound super bright? What microphone are you using?

When factoring the sub width, those distances predict SBIR dips at 51Hz and 44Hz, which is close enough to what you saw. Moving the sub closer to a corner should help significantly.
It's just the internal mic of my Samsung S23+, so it might be an artefact rather than an actual value.
I have the same phone and can confirm the 8kHz peak is indeed an artifact of the phone built-in microphone. I get the same:

If I measure with an external measurement mic the 8kHz peak is not there.

One note however: S23+ built-in mic has some bass roll-off, which will result in complementary bass boost post-RoomFit. Here's an illustration (compare orange dashed line vs green solid line):
