I cannot seem to connect to both of my Vibelink Amps simultaneously via Bluetooth. It's only one or the other. Is there a workaround?

Do you mean only one shows in the app? I’d suggest raising a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app and seek their advice/opinion

With the connection being by Bluetooth, perhaps the only way would be to use two different phones / tablets.
I know that you can currently connect a Vibelink to two different devices, but I don't think you can connect two Vibelink's to a single device.

Connecting a mobile phone to two receiving devices via Bluetooth audio simultaneously is generally not supported. Is that what you try to do?

Bluetooth technology typically only allows for a single audio stream to be transmitted to one device at a time.

I don’t see it as any different to having several devices paired to your phone - I have several devices listed under Bluetooth “connected devices” on my phone, with, for example, my Fitbit and hearing aids both being connected at the same time. I don’t think the OP is looking to transmit audio to his two vibelinks (which you can’t anyway), just to see both amps listed in the WiiM home app. I think that’s a valid request.

It's not Bluetooth audio in the case if the WiiM Vibelink Amp, the USB connection is for configuration purposes only.

And I fully agree. We are used to see all WiiM devices, even those on other networks, and the Vibelink Amp should be no exception, even if the technology behind the connection is slightly different.

Bluetooth is a point-to-point protocol. So, this is expected behaviour. Bluetooth can also be a hub-and-spoke (multiple clients) but the communications are still one at a time.

If you're trying to create a group for simultaneous audio in two locations, you'll need to add a WiiM mini or another WiiM device to each Vibelink Amp. If you are still within your return window, an Amp/Amp Pro rather than Vibelink Amp is probably a better choice for your use case.

Am I missing something?
All you can do with the bluetooth connection with the vibelink amp is turn the amp on or off and update the firmware. That's it as far as I know.

Yeah, and that’s my interpretation of all that the OP wishes to do. The fact that they say they can connect to just one at a time suggests it means they can see one as connected in the app, not that they wish (or can) do anything more than you state.

OK thanks @Burnside I think if a remote trigger is not available then a smartplug will do the same. I just tried removing the power from the ultra and vibelink, removed the trigger cable then switched the smartplug back on and both devices came back on. As far as updates, I think you could end the bluetooth connection for whichever is connected under the phones bt connections and go about updating the firmware for both amps.

If the vibelink is fully asleep (lights off) when the power to it goes off then it will still be asleep when the power comes back on.

Thank you for the info @Mr Ee
My smart plug has a (beta) function that allows the plug to turn off at a certain wattage. I have the ultra and vibelink amp connected to one smartplug, the wattage is set to 12w for 10 mins so it shuts down before deep sleep. However I have a trigger cable connected between the ultra and the amp so it's not a problem for me. I just wanted to point out that it would be possible to run the amp with this combination. The smart plug is a Tapo p110. There is also a powerstrip version of this that has the same function Tapo P304M that I also have. This might be a help to those who like to hide their gear.
