I have a denon 4300 receiver & am using it in a 2.1 setup. I have the wiim connected using RCA cables from the WiiM Ultra's Line-Out to an analog input (e.g., CD, Aux, Media) on my denon AVR. My question is about my subwoofer which is a svs sb3000. Should the sub be connected to the wiim sub output or the denon sub output?
Thanks

That is why you have too much bass.

If the sub is connected to your Ultra, then you need to use the Ultra volume control, and not have the volume fixed.

If you don’t want to do this for some reason, then you should connect your sub to the Denon receiver.
ok I have turned off the fixed volume off. That is better. Also setting at 50% was much better. I will need to decide which I prefer. Thanks everyone for their input

Not ignored at all but my denon sub output is very low base compared to wiim output. I am going to try & figure out why because I do prefer the sub connection to the denon.
What I think you are missing to understand is that the volume of the subwoofer output of the WiiM is following the WiiM main volume control. So, as already pointed out, always connect a subwoofer to the box that control the volume, else it will not match your main speakers.
