Ultra firmware 5.2.633933 vs 5.2.633165

I have 2 Ultras with 2 different firmware/build dates (see attached). I can’t find any notes about 5.2.633933. This is my oldest Ultra and if I check for updates it says 633933 is latest. Even after a factory default reset it maintains 633933. I do understand that firmware updates are rolled out in a staggered manner, however 633933 is higher than any other officially released firmware update.

Anyone else’s Ultra showing 633933 or are you remaining on 633165?

I submitted a ticket to WiiM. I'll post updates if I hear back.

My Ultra is on 633165. 633933 is indeed a very high number. Could it be a beta FW?

Firmware 3165 is the latest official and the other was beta. Did you submit feedback regarding qoboz issue?

Thanks for the info. I have never signed up for Beta testing (don't even know how lol), but the device came new and sealed from Amazon. Any idea how to get it off Beta and back to production? When I go to update, it says I have the latest. I did submit a ticket with logs, just waiting to hear back.

I'm not sure about the Qoboz issue you refer to...perhaps it was someone else?

The Qobuz fix firmware is 5.2.634658 so neither of the versions mentioned

I’m just guessing but 1029 might be the next official firmware if you did not sign for beta.

My firmware is to fix a playback issue on Qobuz and tidal which is why I have a different firmware version
If it’s candy I am happy as it resolved my issues

Because when wiim replied they found root cause you the other stated about other issues so it may delay the next official firmware. I am rubbing my hand hoping to see a good feature set.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for fixing problems. Just idle curiosity, wouldn't the Qobuz issue you experienced by observed by all who own an Ultra? I'm just trying to wrap my head around firmware updates with WiiM

No idea only me and one other user reported it on a thread we started but it’s fixed now for both of us
Really impressed with the support they provide less than a week they had it fixed
Sonos could take lessons

This version was updated a while ago. If I try to update today it tells me it is up to date.
