On October 24th I made a post about new clocks/meters and the @WiiM Team replied " Hi Maurizio, Team
This updated firmware supports the new clocks. To make the selection, the app needs an update, which is targeted for next week. Please stay tuned!" Well, the week is coming to an end and the app update has not been seen.
when I see the efforts on this kind of thing and other accessories and that the autogain in correction mode (see the integration of the microphone cal files) is still not present... my arms drop...The beta android app (but not the beta iOS app) for smart presets has a couple of more “standby screen wallpapers” so you may not have too much longer to wait…

In Italy a famous song by Mina goes "Parole, parole, parole, parole parole soltanto parole, parole tra noi" translated "Words, words, words, words words only words, words between us"
Maybe Wiim should focus on a few things at a time and finish them, instead of putting too much on the table and not finishing things. There are countless Beta tests going on, but why?
Wouldn't it be better to do one at a time and finish it?
Another example. Automatic RC per channel. The Beta test started a long time ago, but it has been lost track of. What happened? Will there be a sequel? Was it aborted?
Nothing more has been said. This only creates confusion and bad mood. Better not to bite off more than you can chew and focus on a few things, but get them done.
At least, that's what I think
Good suggestion! The independent peq rc hasn’t made out to public release. It maybe complicated to do. You know the old saying if you’re stuck on one move to other so you have something at works to be released. Let’s say I have 5 betas and 3 of them are facing complicated issues so the remaining 2 will have something to be release to keep the crowd joyful while working on the remaining 3. That’s the reason why so many beta out there. On October 24th I made a post about new clocks/meters and the @WiiM Team replied " Hi Maurizio, Team

If the user care so much about the clock well as might him purchase tiny clock. It’s nice to have feature but irrelevant to many of us because you purchase a streamer not a clock. The beta android app (but not the beta iOS app) for smart presets has a couple of more “standby screen wallpapers” so you may not have too much longer to wait…

Although a clock is useful. VU meters not so much.If the user care so much about the clock well as might him purchase tiny clock. It’s nice to have feature but irrelevant to many of us because you purchase a streamer not a clock.
I’m sure if this was related to rc you and I will be having a good time. Did you cancel your auto timing beta and return to official firmware?Although a clock is useful. VU meters not so much.
I haven't cancelled yet, I'll.probanly wait for the next official firmware before I do. Just in case they actually make the automatic timing useful.I’m sure if this was related to rc you and I will be having a good time. Did you cancel your auto timing beta and return to official firmware?
If you subscribe to one beta feature you are currently automatically excluded from all others if you only have one device. Why not bundle all the beta into one firmware so you can test as many as you like?Let me sum up all this constructive criticism: "I want my favourite feature to be the first, I don't care about anybody else!"
Calm down, folks. Doing "one thing at a time" neither fulfills your whishes exactly nor does it make sense otherwise. Sometimes you simply don't know beforehand how long implementing a feature might take.
WiiM's approach is a textbook example of agile software development. Whatever they do offers instant value for those who are after this feature. Sorry for those who don't care but want something different. Might be their turn next time.
This has been mentioned many time doing one thing at time. Many as you know of are impatient because they want everything in an instant. They feel doing one at time would speed up the process.Let me sum up all this constructive criticism: "I want my favourite feature to be the first, I don't care about anybody else!"

Haha bundle would be great that would keep you busy for many days to come. I appreciate for participating on beta because majority doesn’t want to be part of guinea pig.If you subscribe to one beta feature you are currently automatically excluded from all others if you only have one device. Unfortunately that feeling is misleading or in other words: wrong. They feel doing one at time would speed up the process.
That's doing everything at once, the opposite of one at a time, but ignoring the fact that there are interdependencies. Why not bundle all the beta into one firmware so you can test as many as you like?
If they have interdependencies that is still going to be an issue at official releaseUnfortunately that feeling is misleading or in other words: wrong.

Why should any of us forum users know better how to efficiently manage the code than the actual developers?
Since not many users participating on beta, I think bundle would be a smart choice plus a having a choice as individual. It’s true if you only have one device then you’re stuck. This lead to believe the reason dlna cast was taking so long was not many participants and has bugs that wasn’t discovered before. If they have interdependencies that is still going to be an issue at official release
Before wiim starts selling streamer, I used to use ifi streamer. It was expensive and bad experience because the software part was the problem. Good hardware but not so on software.I agree, and we have to praise Wiim support for listening to the customers. We all have priorities when it comes to new features, but the fact is they end up releasing them and somewhat fast
