I know it will never happen, but I wish a company like Wiim would make a universal remote control.
It seems to me that home automation is growing very fast and it's quickly gaining interest with "normal" non-tech customers.
I myself can't think of a better way to control the whole house than an upgraded variation of a universal remote control.
Something that is readily available to any user in the house. Especially when you incorporate media streaming into home automation.
Because of that I was very surprised when Logitech Harmony decided to leave that part of the market.
Maybe that's just me but I greatly miss a new product that will replace the Harmony line.
I still keep tinkering, fixing and trying to find a better and more reliable way to make wiim products work with the one and a half functioning Harmony remotes that I still have.
Once they stop working I will probably go live in a cave as it seems that this is how we "universal remote lovers" are perceived these days
