Which NAS works well with WiiM Pro?

Not sure it's pretty basic. All I know is it was slowing down, if I was mass tagging, converting etc. I used Winscp to SSH into the nas and delete all hidden \@eardir that was within each folder and reclaimed back 20-30GB
I don't like the sound of that, I hope there is a way to disable the artwork creation feature. If not then I guess I will have to live with it as the space taken up is kind of minimal compared to the overall storage space 2TB or 4TB.

Shouldn't be bad on a small collection, mine is about 7TB music, with 20-30GB of crap in @eadir dir.

At least with LMS it does indexing when I want it, with manual update or full scan.

Here is what audio station/media server does per album. In each album it creates multiple hidden sub directories , of every track, and in each a few files.

Absolute hog of HD space overall
Not good at all to be honest but I suppose nothing will be perfect, some compromises will have to be made or allowed.

yeah, just I was noticing HD space going down for no reason before/after audio station/media server. And the constant HD access, generally it's silent.

Tried a few servers...still think LMS is the best haha. Although it's not visible within Wiim app... My Kodi box, Minimserver, and Synology Media server is.

Minimserver offers options of disabling artwork

not sure you want to tbh it's great (LMS) :D

I mean for my own music that I experiment with using GarageBand, I will never create graphics or album art for them. Just title them, that's it.

If you don't have embedded jpeg, cover.jpg it won't create copy of album art cache. So not a problem either way.

Photo of pi5 4gb with 64gb SSD for picoreplayer.

Had the SSD sitting around

Enough choice of server eh haha

How do I get LMS in there too? I thought LMS had UPNP media, I can see my AVR and TV in LMS.
