I’m pretty sure if this was DLNA cast you would buy champagne to celebrate. It was the longest feature that sit in on beta.
I think that's going a bit far, because I can't see DLNA cast ever working properly, even if it gets released.

It’s worked pretty good for me. I used it to play cd’s in my Blu-ray connected to my amp via optical and I sent that signal to my Sonos roam. My only gripe was that it shut off my main speakers. But I got off that beta a little while back.

Great to see continued support for the WiiM Amp, even if not every firmware update may fulfil everybody's personal heartfelt wishes. I cannot imagine anyone not interested in "performance enhancements and bug fixes for an overall better experience", though. ;)

Some (including myself) will be now really be looking forward to the WiiM Home app 3.0.3 (and some more to version 3.0.4).

The amp pro from previous update include auto timing but this new update for amp doesn’t include it. Timing and independent peq rc are a must for proper integration. It has been long time since independent peq rc been sitting on beta. It finally made to official. I’m looking forward that to be included on ultra.

I presume that this is referring to my earlier comment, and obviously "performance enhancements and bug fixes for an overall better experience" are welcome, but I'm not aware of what needed enhancing, or fixing.

Have you noticed every firmware release there’s this on the bottom “Various performance enhancements and bug fixes for an overall better experience.” It wasn’t specific what this is all about. It does look good if this is a resume.

The WiiM Amp and the WiiM Amp Pro are pretty much different animals, even if looking so similar from the outside. The WiiM Amp Pro features the same A98D Wireless Smart Audio module as the WiiM Ultra, so these two are technically closer than the WiiM Amp and the WiiM Amp Pro.

In the end, we all want the same set of features regarding room correction (for all WiiM devices) and bass management (for the Amp, the Ultra and the Amp Pro). But this is a trivial truth. Why not let WiiM developers decide how they are rolling out these features for different devices? Do you really fear that the Ultra will be left out? I don't think so. :)

It's been more of a general comment. We cannot really expect that each update brings something new for everyone, can we? I'm about to pass my WiiM Amp on to my brother as a Christmas present (please don't tell him ;) ). That's why I'm so happy seeing further improvements coming. :D

Would be nice to know what has been improved, yes. Might also turn out to be boring, though. :p

I looked up three releases not containing this sentence for you ;) :

oh my, what a negative bunch

You might want to buy another device for the same price with all this functionality
