No, definitely not.

This is the first firmware release for the Wiim Amp Ultra providing independent RoomFit and EQ.

May I ask how to use it independently? The latest WH APP remains the same as before. The RC and EQ functions cannot be activated simultaneously.

There will be a pop-up to "upgrade your listening experience" when you select EQ or RoomFit, but you need the latest firmware for your device and the latest WiiM Home App.

More info here:

In the end you can select a room correction profile under "RoomFit" or disable it. When activated the calculated PEQ gets applied but leaving the EQ settings under "EQ" free for your use additionally to RoomFit (GEQ or PEQ).

Using the WAU firmware version 5.2.726631 an WHA version 3.3.1 exactly this should be possible.

The WiiM Home app should ask you to start an update process. This will convert those saved PEQ profiles, which have been created by the room correction process before, to RoomFit profiles.

You can then have RoomFit generally enabled or disabled (supporting multiple profiles for multiple configurations) and EQ enabled or disabled (per source) independently.

My version of the WAU firmware is 5.2.726631.The version of WHA is 3.3.1250813.
In fact, the current situation is that there is no such upgrade pop-up window as you described at all.

Your options include:
  • Create a post in the troubleshooting section, including screenshots of the Sound section and EQ and RoomFit pages and let the community help
  • Reboot your WiiM Amp Ultra from the device settings page in the WiiM Home app
  • Power cycle your WiiM Amp Ultra by disconnecting it from the mains power for a minute or so, then reconnect
  • Send feedback to WiiM through the WHA by tapping More... => Feedback
  • Factory reset your WiiM AMP Ultra
Even though I picked an unordered list I wouldn't recommend starting with the last bullet point. :)

希望当局能够审查这个最新版本。事实上,最新的固件版本存在低频声音音量变细、强度降低的问题。
Please post in English.

If you have the issue on this model, again raise a ticket to WiiM so they're aware of it - this is primarily a user support and discussion forum, not some that WiiM trawls for issues.
