WiiM Amp Ultra Users Experience

I want to use the Wiim amp ultra as a music alarm clock. Does the Wiim amp ultra support Tunein on its own, without connecting to a phone with the app? Of course the Wiim amp ultra will be connected to the LAN.
It does. It just needs an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection. You can even use any of the presets you can store with your alarms and a preset could even link to a Spotify playlist. Local media servers are supported, too. You're going to see lots and lots of options.

Thank you.

Yes, TuneIn is one of the supported services built into the WiiM Home app.
That's exactly what I didn't ask, I needed to know if it works independently and without the connected application. Of course after the initial setup using the application. But I was already answered above.
But anyway, thanks for your willingness.

In that case your question was ambiguous as I am sure many people interpreted "the app" as meaning the TuneIn app 🙂

The WiiM Home App on the phone is just a controller to set it up. When playing you don't need the App. Whatever you defined in your alarm (and any other playing) is done by the WiiM device, not any App.
