v2.11.0

What's New:

1. iPad Compatibility: Improved UI and screen rotation support on the playback page.
2. New Favorite Tab: All your favorites in one place; note that Napster is not supported. Currently available for iOS, with Android support coming in two weeks.
3. Qobuz Artist Page: Updated the artist page for a better experience.
4. Qobuz Album Page: Improved the album page layout.
5. Pre-Gain Feature: Added logic for Pre-Gain functionality. Requires the latest WiiM Ultra firmware update.
6. Volume Display: Volume bar now shows the exact volume level.
7. Audio Output Sync: Added instant notification for audio output change (Settings, PlayView).

Bug fixes:

1. USB Indexing Fix: Resolved issue where new songs were not detected in the USB index.
2. Time Zone Sync: Optimized time zone synchronization to fix incorrect time display on Ultra devices.

It looks like this release (or maybe an older one I don't know as I don't use it much) has introduced a much bigger problem than the track artist display issue, it's now using the tags from the file being served instead of those sent by the server on the Now Playing screen.

I undertand using the file tags when the server doesn't provide any, but they shouldn't take priority.

I configure my media server to set ALBUM to be:
%date% - %album% (%release%)
And set TITLE to be:
%title% (%subtitle%) [%tracktype%]

Now when the track starts playing the screen initially displays the correct values but a second later they're overlaid with the values from the tags.

I'm still anxiously waiting for the new version on Android, that also supports the favorites tab. Any news on it's release?

They are working on it. Personally I think that it's going to be released rather sooner than later.
 
Sonos is using Trello to show progress on their (disastrous) app update. Looks like a pretty good way to keep end users updated.
