If the volume controls did actually translate directly to 0% for minimum and 100% for maximum it would probably still be an issue as it is so easy to go from 0 to 100 quickly by long pressing the controls 🤔
The problem is that the volume controls on the WiiM device and the phone are out of sync, so if the WHA works the same way it does when it is on the front ground, all is improve.🙂

It would also be nice to see a numerical indication of volume instead of the Android volume bar.

I have drop-down control and widget in addition to the default volume control. The volume is however wrong as the WiiM is playing at 32% with the attached pictures.

This is on a OnePlus phone.

@WiiM Team As a side note: The media integration do not work when input is not streaming. So you cannot regulate sounds from TV, optical, analog or phono inputs when the WiiM Home App is in the background.

This is my widget. No volume indication and "Phone Speaker". When you adjust the volume you wouldn't normally have the widget on the screen anyway.

Although there is a common android media API the GUI implementation clearly depends on manufactures OS variants.

Can you select the media player to get a full screen version?

If I click on it the Home app returns to the foreground.

This is how it appears for me, but the volume bar is barely functional...

Hi hgo58,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We will review the background control behavior across various input sources.

Hi pjorgenunes,

@pjorgenunes

Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

Our team has confirmed that the Replay Gain option is still available in iOS v3.2.1. Please send us feedback by selecting the More tab -> Feedback, and our engineers will promptly investigate the issue with the missing Replay Gain option.

Ticket already closed and REPLAYGAIN available again.

Strangely, day after detection it was available (still I had to choose again albumgain).

So, everything ok now.

BR,
Paulo Nunes

Battery use on my iPhone is 22% for the WiiM app with the widget now please include a way to disable it in the next update

Hi @Skull,

We will investigate this issue again and reduce the battery usage when the widget is active. Also, we will support an option to disable the now-playing widget soon. Please stay tuned!
I have started closing the WiiM home application after starting a playlist and battery usage has gone from 30-40% to 4%
And as I don’t use the Lock Screen widget an off toggle is needed asap

Hi all,

When I play an album (from my USB or NAS drive) when it reaches the end it starts again from the beginning. Is there a way to choose between this behaviour or just end playing at the end of the album?
I could find any repeat option to toggle this…

Thanks

For me the repeat control is visible in the WiiM Home app, right where I would expect it to be.

Different cover art in my case, but no difference in the user interface.
