Thanks for excellent update.

Is the decision to have 32 presets (multiples of 4) related to the 4 preset buttons? 🤔😉

My guess is WiiM Ultra 🙂
Yes.

a idea for the future ... it would be awesome to change (or have an option) the way the"back"- Button in the app works. When playing a song and pressing the back button it will jump a whole song backwards instead of starting the actual song from the beginning. All the other apps and hifi devices will jump to the beginning of the played song. Here I have to press one time "back" and one time "next". It would be less a problem if crapping the timeline and scroll to the beginning of the song would be less laggy - on DSD and 192kHz Flac files it takes a few seconds react
This was requested a long time ago.
Maybe one day...

I think the suggestion back then was if in the first few seconds of a track the previous track, else beginning of current track.

What is this? Since it’s in the More Tab and visible for any playing WiiM device (with screen or not) it should refer to the app’s screen.

If I remember correctly, I believe it is the always-on screen that Team mentioned earlier. (A feature that keeps the phone screen on while the WHA is running.)

Could you please try it? 🙂

Yes it does that. Not a good thing to change OS user settings, IMO.

Not good!

As you may know, this is actually a permission that many apps have. As far as I know, the WiiM app originally had this permission.

This feature is for users who want to use their tablet as a screen for the WiiM device. If you don't use it, you can turn it off and no problem 🙂

I understand that. I disagree though that an app may have access to that. Should I want to keep the screen on I can access the OS and do it myself. I am surprised Apple allows this. I urge @WiiM Team to consider removing this.

This is not a screen on/off function and does not require special permission(e.g. changing system settings).

Personally, I don't see this as a problem, but if you are concerned it might be better to submit a ticket and get an explanation from the team 🙂

It changes OS screen behavior - constant brightness and locking.
