WiiM Home App v3.2.6 Update – Jul 10, 2025

Please review the app update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.

App Release Version
v3.2.6

What's New:
  1. USB/NAS Enhancements: Group music by composer for easier browsing.
  2. Parametric EQ: Now includes High/Low Pass filters (requires the upcoming firmware update).
  3. HDMI ARC Auto-Sensing: More personalized control with automatic HDMI ARC detection.
  4. Room Correction Default: Default frequency range is now 50Hz ~ 4kHz for better results with the built-in mic (Lower frequency will be supported by adding calibration file for the built-in MIC).
  5. [Android] Instant Access: Tap on the album or artist name on the now-playing page for immediate access.

Bug Fixes:
  1. [iOS] Preset Artwork: Fixed issue with artwork not showing correctly after upload for Open Network Stream.
  2. Room Correction Fix: Fixed a bug causing room correction to fail when using USB output with a Sub output.

I still have the WiiM Home app 3.2.5 on my Poco X6 Pro (which reportedly is affected, too, MediaTek SoC). With my UMIK-1 I will perform some measurements and the compare them to the results obtained with app version 3.2.6. Finally I'll compare them with what the Xiaomi 12 will show.

TL;DR:
Even with the WiiM Home app 3.2.6 devices like e.g. the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro are still not really usable for RoomFit. :(

Scenarios:
  1. Poco X6 Pro WHA 3.2.5
  2. Poco X6 Pro WHA 3.2.6
  3. Xiaomi 12 WHA 3.2.6
A MiniDSP UMIK-1 was used for all measurements. The mic remained in exactly the same position in it's stand, totally untouched. RoomFit settings were checked and kept identical in all cases:

Be mindful of the scales when comparing the results!

There obviously is some improvement when using the Poco X6 Pro + UMIK-1 with WHA 3.2.6 over version 3.2.5, so WiiM did their job. (y)

However, the generated filters will still overemphasize the lowest registers. The sad thing is that these differences still occur using an external microphone with it's individual calibration file.

If I find the time I might add the actual filters later.

My app says it 3.2.5.250701.aeb21c
I've check for updates in Playstore multiple times over the last few days and nothing new.
Are you sure it's available in the Playstore?
Am I the only one who can't get the latest update?

edit: even tried rebooting my phone and checking the Playstore for updates... Nothing!
edit2: even in the Playstore itself the version is listed as 3.2.5.250701 (1st July 2025).... Wiim check the Playstore yourself... hopeless!

Yes, I updated it from the Playstore. Mine just arrived yesterday. I expect yours will arrive today or tomorrow.

Sometimes the WiiM update doesn't appear in the update list but if you search for it on the Playstore you can update from there.

I can't be bothered... Playstore on web (see my link above) shows 3.2.5, Playstore on phone shows 3.2.5 as the version installed (and there is no newer version to install), in app version shows 3.2.5... Wiim QA is pathetic.

WiiM have little to do with what Google decides to present to you, in your region of the world, taking I to account your haircut. :)

Complain to Google ... or the maker of your phone.

If the update shown in your Playstore is the same as this, then there is no problem.

Then you just can't download the latest version yet. If you have waited a few days and it hasn't arrived, please submit a support ticket.
