WiiM Home App v3.2.6 Update – Jul 10, 2025

Please review the app update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.

App Release Version
v3.2.6

What's New:
  1. USB/NAS Enhancements: Group music by composer for easier browsing.
  2. Parametric EQ: Now includes High/Low Pass filters (requires the upcoming firmware update).
  3. HDMI ARC Auto-Sensing: More personalized control with automatic HDMI ARC detection.
  4. Room Correction Default: Default frequency range is now 50Hz ~ 4kHz for better results with the built-in mic (Lower frequency will be supported by adding calibration file for the built-in MIC).
  5. [Android] Instant Access: Tap on the album or artist name on the now-playing page for immediate access.

Bug Fixes:
  1. [iOS] Preset Artwork: Fixed issue with artwork not showing correctly after upload for Open Network Stream.
  2. Room Correction Fix: Fixed a bug causing room correction to fail when using USB output with a Sub output.

TL;DR:
Even with the WiiM Home app 3.2.6 devices like e.g. the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro are still not really usable for RoomFit. :(

Scenarios:
  1. Poco X6 Pro WHA 3.2.5
  2. Poco X6 Pro WHA 3.2.6
  3. Xiaomi 12 WHA 3.2.6
A MiniDSP UMIK-1 was used for all measurements. The mic remained in exactly the same position in it's stand, totally untouched. RoomFit settings were checked and kept identical in all cases:

Be mindful of the scales when comparing the results!

There obviously is some improvement when using the Poco X6 Pro + UMIK-1 with WHA 3.2.6 over version 3.2.5, so WiiM did their job. (y)

However, the generated filters will still overemphasize the lowest registers. The sad thing is that these differences still occur using an external microphone with it's individual calibration file.

If I find the time I might add the actual filters later.

May I ask you to comment harkpabst, Wiimer findings? I can also confirm that I do not see any changes on my POCO X7 Pro

  1. [Android] Instant Access: Tap on the album or artist name on the now-playing page for immediate access.

Hi @WiiM Team, @WiiM Support,

I'm asked about Instant Access.

When playing a station on Amazon music, this feature does not work. (It works fine with playlists and albums.)

Is this a limitation caused by the Amazon api?

I like to play stations on preset and add them to "my like" with the Good button, so it would be nice if Instant Access was available for stations as well.

If possible, it would be great if you could improve this.

Thank you.

It's great to see "Full title display" finally addressed for all local servers/drives.

This problem was holding me back from getting a Wiim for my main audio system. I keep my music on SMB shares and I prefer to browse my collection by folders.

The first time I'm ahead of the announcements in the forum.
What has changed?

The iOS version was available two days ago, see post #66.

There is now a dedicated thread for this version.

Can anyone explain how this recently added feature should work:

[Android] Instant Access: Tap on the album or artist name on the now-playing page for immediate access.

I took it to be that when I have the app full screen open showing what's currently playing from my home music share, if I tapped artist or album name I'd be able to view all my tracks for that album/artist. However nothing happens when I click on them so have I misunderstood?

I believe it's specific to particular sources (such as Qobuz or Tidal), rather than your own music share, where it takes you to the artist or album details, like within the qobuz or tidal apps themselves.

Tap the three-dot icon (...) on the right side of the playback screen to see if View Artist and View Album are present. If they are not found, instant access is not available.

As you say, tap the artist name on the playing screen to display the artist screen. If the album name is displayed, tap it to display the album screen. To be more precise, the left half is the artist and the right half is the link to the album.

Correction:
Sorry, The link range in the artist view seems to be proportional to the number of characters in the artist name. If the artist name is short, it will be shifted to the left as shown here.

This may also be helpful.
Except that I initially misunderstood the "tab on the album" and tried to tab the album art, it works. It's however hard to hit correctly when the text I scrolling on a small phone screen.

In my experience, the linkable range is independent of scrolling. As you can see in this image, when scrolling, does tapping on the left side open the Artist view and tapping on the right side open the Album view?

@WiiM Team, @WiiM Support, @RyanWithWiiM,

Hi

Request for instant access.
(Ticket : 537956)

Currently, if the artist name is longer than the screen width, the link to the album view is not displayed and cannot be tapped. As shown in this image, it is filled with a link to the artist view.

Could this issue be corrected and the link range split in two, when the artist name exceeds half the screen width?

Please consider it.
Thank you.

Or make it like Tidal, where it asks you which you want to go to, and if there are multiple artists it lists them for you to choose.

Certainly useful, but can you do that by tapping the artist name on the Tidal in-Now Playing Screen?

Spotify does not. If you want to select an artist, have to select it by tapping the three-dot icon and then tapping "Go to artist".

So I don't think Amazon music even had that functionality...
