@WiiM Team How does this RoomFit update work? How do we "retry uploads without re-recording"? There does not appear to be any obvious method to do this.

This is a change in logic, so I don't think it adds any new features, but it would be good to have an explanation from the team.

Maybe re-running roomfit without going thru the sweep/mic procedure again e.g. to try different settings, newer backend roomfit algorithms?

What's the 'Dynamic Bass' control? I noticed it when clicking on the cog icon of a device (between Roomfit and Audio Settings)

I also noticed it, during tinkering with my Pro+.
It briefly appeared, then hid again.
FW 4.8.737630, WHA rev. 3.4.3.

Clearly a glitch. On the Ultra I got the Dynamic Bass and can't access RoomFit.

Actually I just restarted the WiiM Home App. So probably a device discovery issue?

Can someone explain what this means? Does it mean you can for example make a flat and B&K profile from one sweep measurement?

Hi there,

In the previous version, even if the recording was successful, a RoomFit failure would still prompt you to repeat the recording. In the new version, RoomFit automatically retries using the existing recording, so no additional recording is needed. In most cases, this change happens seamlessly in the background. Hope this clarifies.

So it doesn't allow us to generate different profiles from.one measurement. I am feeling underwhelmed now.

I get the impression you’re seldom whelmed, never mind overwhelmed

Has anyone ever reported the issue this overcomes? You still need to make a new measurement for every profile you want to create. If I make a measurement in REW I can generate as many profiles as I like from the same measurement.

After the Spotify update, it stopped playing the song; it would automatically stop. When I pressed play to switch to the next track, it would stop again after six seconds, and there would be no sound.
