No, I cannot re-add them. And I haven't deleted anything. The Update happened automatically. After The UpdateThe folders were gone
What do you mean by not being able to re-add them? If you go into the browse tab in the WiiM home app, choose Home Music Share, then "add shared folder" under the three dot menu, what happens when you add the URLs for your shared folders? Or are you saying the folders themselves have disappeared from wherever they were previously located?

This one:
"Simultaneous Output (Beta): Supports Optical/Coaxial with Line Out for simultaneous playback. Enable it on the Audio Output page."
Is there a toggle switch on this? I don’t see it on my ultra with latest app.

Please submit feedback through the WiiM Home App (More > Feedback) so that we can review the device logs.

Additionally, we recommend updating the app to version 3.5.3 and then trying to add the SMB connection again to see if the issue is resolved.

Hi, @WiiM Team , @WiiM Support , @RyanWithWiiM @JasonWithWiiM

Is there a possibility that simultaneous DLNA Cast and Line-out output will be supported in the future?
Thank you.
Just about anything is possible with enough determination :) Nothing I can share on this one, but I'll let the team know you're asking. The current DLNA implementation has a lot of delay on it, so we'd have to add the same delay to the line-out, not a dealbreaker, but something we'd have to work with.

Does this new firmware allow lowpass filtered subwoofer stereo output at 200 Hz from the stereo line out in the Ultra , while it’s still possible to use toslink out from the Ultra to an external dac sending highpass filtered signal at 200 Hz to the main speakers ?

If this is possible , it’s all I have wanted for a long time , using two stereo subwoofers.

It can’t do that right now, but I hope to be able to someday.

First, thank you for the excellent new feature additions.😄

I've tested simultaneous output briefly, and it's functioning correctly so far. Below are the current issues and suggestions for future improvements.

- If setting the crossover for the subwoofer in Ultra, prevents the Line-out from playing full-range audio.

- Similarly, the EQ settings applied in Ultra are also applied to the Line-out.

- Audio is out of sync.
I connected the Mini and A10 to the Line-out. Due to DSP latency, the sound from these speakers is slightly delayed. (Audio synchronization did not work with the Mini.)

- A feature to mute only the digital output might be useful. This would enable switching between A/B/A+B speakers.

If delay compensation for the line-out and a full-range output (and EQ/RoomFit disable) option are added, I believe it could also be used as a stereo sub-out. I look forward to future developments.

Thank you so much.

The Simultaneous Line Out toggle is located on the Audio Output screen.

Can you clearify what you mean ?
What you are writing here about the crossover is exactly what’s needed to do stereo lowpass filtering from the line out on the ultra . And you do want the EQ settings applied to the lineout . It’s a very good thing .
This option in true stereo for subwoofers would be great for seriously audiophiles using diy active speakers.

Does this work ?

The Line-out outputs exactly the same signal as the digital-out.

So when a crossover is enabled, a high-pass filter is applied to the Line-out as well, so it can't be used as a Sub-out.

good news: everything, each vanished folder has returned and I can play my Samba files now! I did make nothing, no update, nothing

Yes, EQ and RoomFit are applied to the Line-out. However, my suggestion is to include an option to disable EQ and RoomFit on the Line-out. For example, if you use the Line-out as a tape-out, I believe you’ll need a full-range output with EQ disabled.

When using the Line-out as a stereo Sub-out, the following additional features would likely be necessary:

- Apply a low-pass filter to the Line-out (output the same (stereo) signal as the Sub-out)

- Audio-sync between the Digital-out and Line-out

These features are not yet available.

Edit;
It would be ideal if a toggle to switch the "Output Destination" were added to the current subwoofer settings screen, allowing users to switch between Sub-out or Line-out.

Could that have happened after an update to the WiiM Home app, as there have been two further updates since the version in this thread.

Ok , now I understand .
If it was possible to use the Ultra as a two way stereo dsp crossover , we wouldn’t need an external dsp crossover , such as minidsp .

Let me dream... wouldn't it be great to have a simultaneous output to emulate a surround sound system, where for example we have the front speakers with line output and the rear speakers with Bluetooth speakers?
Thanks!
