Beta Features

1. Simultaneous Output (Beta): Supports Optical/Coaxial with Line Out for simultaneous playback. Enable it on the Audio Output page.
2. Stereo Pair (Beta): Simplifies stereo pair setup. Note: The current beta firmware has a known issue where the volume may not stay synchronized when devices are grouped as a stereo pair.

Device Settings

1. Device Screen: Adds per-input screen on/off settings (requires the upcoming firmware update).
2. Automatic Updates: Adds an option to delay automatic firmware updates (requires the upcoming firmware update).

NAS & Streaming

1. NAS Browsing: Optimizes NAS browsing cache to reduce outdated data.
2. Open Network Stream (iOS): Improves handling of spaces in imported Custom Radio file names.

Setup

1. OOBE: Improves OOBE guidance to help troubleshoot setup issues.
2. Permissions: Improves permission explanation pages.

Is simultaneous output FW for Ultra still in beta? I have a Pro and Mini, not an Ultra, so I'm anticipating it trickling down to those later.

Not yet, still just in beta for the Ultra

But will it be possible eventually? Has it been considered?
(We were told it wasn't possible (just like the 10-band PEQ on mini etc).. but now they're considering it for the ultra... so maybe it's possible for the "plus" ...)

It hasn't been said officially as I recall, but given the PP shares the ram/cpu as the Ultra I'd hope it was feasible. Then again, they don't share the same SoC module, so maybe not. Maybe raise a ticket and ask WiiM directly, or we can ping @RyanWithWiiM or @JasonWithWiiM and see if they know.

haha, I knew that would come back to bite me Just remember that sometimes it's not economically or physically possible to leverage the amount of determination necessary to make something happen.

It probably couldn't hurt for a little bit... But I wouldn't be committed to it for the long term.
