WiiM Home TV app Now Available for Fire TV

Hi @F1 Fan ,

It looks like a hardware incompatibility is preventing you from downloading the WiiM Home TV app. We’ll be releasing a new version this week with reduced external hardware requirements—stay tuned!

Any news on this? Still isn't allowing me to install on my TCL Fire TV

At the moment, yes, it may not work on ethernet. Mentioned in a few posts on this thread.
A new version should be along soon-ish.
It was reported on the android thread that using wifi when starting the app to choose your device then switching back to ethernet works.

Now have wiim tv app version 1.2 and everything working as it should on my ethernet connected sony tv. All my wiim devices are now showing up and very quickly too. Thank you wiim

Best way of getting a direct answer from WiiM is via the more/feedback section in the app - while WiiM will occasionally turn up here, this is primarily a user discussion and support forum.
