Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread for this.
I just used the Prime "days" to pick up a new, cheap Fire TV stick for the sole purpose of using a spare display to give me a nice now playing screen while I work.
However I've hit a flaw, (ticket raised, fingers crossed) in that I almost exclusively use Airplay 2 as it allows me to manage play counts & listening habits via smart playlist in Itunes both at home & continued in the car.
However, whilst the track title and album names update as they should, unless the track playing doesn't have any album art, it just displays the very first album image it pulled from my phone. A restart had no effect, an overnight power off also had no effect, still the same image persists.
Swap to any other stream and it works perfectly. Swap back to Airplay and I'm back to the very same image.
To be honest I'm not particularly hopeful of feedback on my ticket, it feels like since the later models (I'm running the original Amp) dropped Airplay, it's become less important on the radar, even for fixes.
I suppose what I'm asking here is, has anyone else using the Fire TV App had the same experience?
