WiiM-Powered Audio Setup - Request for Feedback

I would love to get some feedback on a setup I designed. I have included an RCA selector to allow two listening modes:
  1. "Pure" Mode - Source audio is sent directly to the listening room speakers via a fully analog chain; obviously, this wouldn't include the streaming services
  2. "Party" Mode - Source audio is sent to WiiM to allow for wireless, multi-room streaming of all sources; it is assumed that when in this mode, audio cannot be sent in parallel to the the listening room setup via analog means, as the delay introduced by wireless streaming would put the wireless multi-room speakers too far out of sync with the direct line, with no easy means of correction.

I have a few questions:
  • Do you see any issues with the setup as-drawn?
  • Can you think of a more elegant/simple setup?
  • Is a WiiM Ultra overkill? Would another WiiM product fit this application better?
Thanks in advance!

Hi! Great to see such a clear diagram of what you're looking to do.

The setup looks pretty good from your layout, nothing stands out to me as a problem.
It can definitely be done differently, but I think this is a good route.
I like using the WiiM Ultra here as you get the screen and the upgraded DAC for times when the WiiM Ultra is playing into your power amp / receiver.

If there's anything I'm missing or mis-read, hopefully some other community members will jump in and share! :)

Thanks for the reply, Ryan! Glad to hear I'm not heading in the complete wrong direction. :p

I've modified that diagram slightly since my original post to include specific amps, an input selector, and the new WiiM Edition Audio Pro speakers!
