WiiM sound and Google Assistant

When my WiiM sound is grouped with other Chromecast Speakers in the Google Home app the WiiM does not follow the rest of the group during Google Announcements and pause the music and resume after the announcement is complete. I am not sure is this can be overcome, if it a bug or just a limitation of the WiiM Sound and I would imagine the Sound Lite.
