Wiim Ultra, Audioengine A5+ S8 setup advice please

Hi

I recently added a Wiim Ultra to my home office setup, and I'd like some advice on what order to connect things to make use of the room correction feature.

I've got the Wiim Ultra, the Audiogeine A5+s , plus the S8 sub under the desk.

The Ultra has a sub out line, but I'm confused as to whether it's better to run all cables from the Ultra to the A5+s, to the S8, or separately. I guess this has some implications for crossover frequencies.

FWIW, this is mostly a close listening situation.

Best to connect the sub to the Ultra to reap all the benefits of crossover etc. the wiim app provides.
Assuming you'll be using the ultra for volume control.

It's better to run separate cables from the Ultra to the A5+ and S8. Then you will use the WiiM app to setup the subwoofer crossover. Make sure the crossover knob on the back of the S8 is turned all the way to the right (200Hz) and start with the volume knob set to noon.

If you run a single cable from the Ultra to the A5+ and then run a cable form the A5+ to the S8 you'll have to set the crossover by ear using the knobs on the back of the S8.
