No issues with the old Chromecast on the Ultra?
@Mr Ee reported 192 kHz working for him.I tested Chromecast 1.56.xxxx and it works up to 96kHz 24 bit. I did not find a 192kHz stream to test. I recall some, maybe @harkpabst reporting working at 192kHz.
I vote for keeping 1.56.xxxx.
I see "various performance improvements" under bug fixes. Did you guys change Pandora streaming? I was casually listening to Pandora when the update notification dropped. After the update I noticed a significant improvement in detail and soundstage from Pandora. This was completely unexpected. Am I imagining this? Please review the WiiM Ultra update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us. This firmware update is being rolled out in stages, with devices updating sequentially over the next few days.

Thank you. Maybe we're not nuts!Could be. Over the years I noticed changes like that with FW upgrades even on Pro. Posted about it and was dismissed as psychological. Was it or was it real?
I ran into issues today with Tidal Connect (MacBook Pro M1Max, iPhone 15, iPad Pro, any of them) with it pausing and buffering. My WIIM Ultra has been amazing up until today but admit I was out of the country for a week and a half and hadn't tried to use it in awhile. Ultra is connected to my router via ethernet and 600+ download speeds measured and confirmed so ... was getting frustrated. I'd turned off Ivp6 and DNS ... so hope this update fixes the buffering/pausing every minute or so issue! My Ultra is relatively new (last 3 months) so I'm likely at the end of the rollout. Fingers crossed. Please review the WiiM Ultra update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.
