My Ultra has now received this update, without any notification of an update being available, or any user intervention from myself, and I have been checking many times each day since it was announced here. 🤔
Just got it too. Really hoping this fixes my Tidal Connect issue where the queue just stops after a while (1 hour as per the release notes?) and from that point on will only play one track at a time until I choose something else to play.

It gave me an excuse to spend a couple of hours on Sunday tranferring all my 'likes' to Spotify, but the spotify connect / chromecast situation is a pain there too.
Do I need to consider going back to Qobuz?

please fix bug for manualy added radiostation to be deleted every time when updating firmware

That is the default behavior that others and me here don't like one bit. I should always be possible to read release notes first and then decide on the update.

That isn’t usually the case for me, I usually see the blue arrows in the device cards, and then can see the release notes, and select the update process. 🤔

It's actually very simple :p

With the option "Use HDMI Audio Only in HDMI Mode" disabled (the default) the CEC discovery shall be enabled all time. This will cause the WiiM input to change to TV input when ever the HDMI is active (TV turned on) and also allow HDMI auto-sensing to work.

With the option "Use HDMI Audio Only in HDMI Mode" enabled, the CEC discovery shall only be active when the WiiM Ultra input is (manually) set to TV (HDMI). In this way the TV will only change to external speakers when required and else stay on internal speakers.

This was, more or less, how it worked when I got the WiiM Ultra in August 2024. Later on this was broken by an firmware update.
@WiiM Team

Could you please tell us what can we expect regarding the issue and the proposition given? I also cannot deactivate HDMI in TV. Even if I could, I don't like this solution, as I watch movies with my audio setup. It's just not used on daily basis

I have a question.
Are you checking on the original android / IOS device that you originally set the radio station up on?
I assume you are talking about 'open network stream?'

That always seems to be the case in my situation as well... I never understood why there's an option in the WiiM Home app to manually check for firmware updates as it always seems to update by itself? :')

I think if your WiiM device is not on standby during the 'check for update' period i,e. Switched off at the wall overnight. Then you may have to use the option in the WHA. (Like I did this morning).
I think of it as the new fidget spinner 'click.......click........click' 😂😂

Off course, that's the whole point. It should not be default to auto update whatever the time of day during standby. There is no option to disable it.

It should not be default. That's my position/opinion.
I understand, however I think it would only add to other users confusion when they don't get an update.
Quite often we have to point out that the updates are staggered, or ask 'are you on a beta test?' and to add a ' do you have the automatic updates toggle switched on?' Is just another thing we would have to ask.
I also think that we see new functionality added and bugs fixed, but what we don't see is anything about security updates. This  may be why its an automatic update function that can't easily be disabled.
I dont see automatic updates as an issue as we can still rollback to a previous version of the firmware should we wish and as I said earlier there are options to not be included in the automatic updates function.
Just my thoughts 🤔👍

Check this
That was an issue caused by the OP deleting the app.
What I was asking is have you checked on your device that you used to store your 'open network stream' information to see if that still had the stations stored?

I told you allready , i checked on my iPad, list was empty after firmware update this morning. App on iPad was up-to-date.

No need to be like that.
I looks like there is need for that because it seems you have a problem accepting that other people do or like somethings different than you, judging by your reply's to various others. Maybe I'm "triggered" by that because sometimes I have a tendency to do it also but always try to prevent it.

That’s just to reassure you that there’s no update available for you. If there’s an update, it will either just update by surprise or announce itself in the WHA.
