I can’t recall whether mine did, but the Vibelink manual p6 says it should come with a trigger cable.
Mine definitely didn't. I seem to remember we had been talking about the online manual stating otherwise ...

Anybody using the Vibelink with 4ohm floorstand speakers?
In how far does it matter if they are floorstand speakers or not?

The WiiM Vibelink Amp has no difficulties driving a pair of 4 Ω Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2.

Vibelink comes with an optic cable, not a trigger, so I still don't understand why you wrote you are using the trigger furnished with the Vibelink?
Where did you think I got the trigger if not from vibe? Amazon USA comes with trigger maybe not on other country. It comes with rca, power cable, vibe, manual, trigger and optical.

Just a thought, do you leave the Ultra and Vibelink in standby when they are not being used? I seem to recall something about them not working properly if the power is completely removed when not in use.
I set to go on standby in 30 seconds. The previous amp that was connected via trigger works. Not sure why vibe don’t. I have to push the power button on app to turn on/off. This defeats the purpose of trigger.

There are two stages of standby/ power off in the vibelink amp, even when using the trigger cable. The amp goes into a low power state of about 5 to 6 watts for a period of time before going into full standby. If you have a look at the input select led it gets dimmer when the ultra goes into standby and after time has passed the led will go off. During the first stage of standby the vibelink still looks like it is on in the WHA.

So have you already tried resetting Vibelink?

As @Ronnie D said, trigger off and off from the app work differently: the power button on the app is power-off (deep standby), but triggere off is standby. After a further 30 minutes, it will power off.

I think the only problem with your Vibe is that trigger on is not working properly.

To be honest, I don't see why Vibelink needs a standby mode at all. In my opinion, Vibe has no auto-sensing, no Wi-Fi and no Remote, so standby mode is unnecessary.

It would be better to change the specification so that the power is turned off directly by the trigger 🤔

Okay, having thought about your issue further, I think the very first update on the amp was to allow the trigger cable to work correctly. 🤔
On your Wiim home app, do you have an arrow on the amp panel? If so, that will be a download update. If not could you unplug your amp from the power for a couple mins and have a look again? I recall that @harkpabst had mentioned this.

During initial setup it update right away, there was no note what the update was.

I like the idea of trigger will turn off the vibe instead of standby. The vibe turn itself of after a while as I see the app no longer on. This how trigger should work instant off when ultra goes on standby.

I set up a new Ultra, and Vibelink yesterday for a family member, and there was definitely no trigger cable supplied in Amazon UK stock.

Bought through Amazon Italy and no trigger included.
And, it's something often mentioned also here, the lack of a very very cheap cable.

Could it be the first batch from production comes with trigger? Maybe the new batch don’t come with it? Mine came with trigger.

My own Vibelink is a very early one, and that didn’t have a trigger cable supplied in the box, nor even mentioned in the instructions.

Perhaps the trigger cable is only supplied to the US market. 🤔

I got mine in Amazon USA in time of prime day. It does come with trigger and even the manual states what comes in the box. Wiim packaging are among the best out there despite it’s affordable price. In comparison with jc1 mono block which cost 20k. In term of dynamic jc1 would drive any power hungry speakers known to man with authority. My ear would bleed with jc1 sheer power and volume. Vibe I find it lack in volume even I set it to max. I’m getting 200 watt since my speakers are 4 ohms. It’s 85 percent performance of the jc1.
