Yea. I double checked. It’s current. I have a Google cast option. But when I try that. Just get a spinning connection option. Ugh.

I don't know what Qobuz did with their latest iOS Beta release (which auto-updated on my phone overnight/early this morning), but it worked. Qobuz Connect is finally working now for me from my iPhone. I will test later with my laptop too.

Just tested laptop version and again, it works flawlessly. The connectivity is amazing...I watched as the display on my phone app changed instantaneously to reflect when I skipped track on the laptop. This is just stunning, and now I understand the whole point of this whole, "connect," concept. I can see why people were flocking to other platforms that can do this when this platform lacked it. This is an amazing functionality that Apple Music lacks as well, in my opinion!

This is now equal to Spotify Connect which is much the best solution. Apple has Airplay but having to stream from a device is sometimes not ideal.

AirPlay also molests any high-res file. Qobuz Connect is working for me in high-res, I am using a test list and this very moment a 96KHz file is being reported as coming out of the Wiim Ultra at 96KHz to my Anti-Mode X2D.

Almost, Airplay 2 capable speakers can do lossless I believe

So I have been using the latest beta of Qobuz for a couple of hours without issue but then I got to a track that was CD quality only and it start the audio corruption issue. @RyanWithWiim I guess we still need a WiiM firmware update to solve that one. Skip to next track (24bit) and it is fine again

Yes, it seems you're on the Jan 10th release. You may need the Jan 13th release for it to work. Is this an Apple device? Try checking TestFlight for an update, as @azoriusmage suggested.

Uninstalled Qobuz. Went to reinstalled the beta Qobuz from the TestFlight app. This is as far as I can get. When I pick the cast option my ultra chimes likes it’s connected. But goes no farther than this. Hopefully I’ll figure it out

Yes, that's exactly what it was doing on mine up until today, WiiM would chime as if to acknowledge handshake, but no streaming occurs.

That entry for the Ultra only shows Google Cast, not Qobuz Connect. I’d guess you’ve not got the correct beta firmware from WiiM.
