Ongoing Beta Beta Testing: Wireless Dolby 5.1 for WiiM Ultra

Is that right? Does it work while it's in surround mode? If so, I will pin a comment with that correction.
Yes !

Look at WiiMs answer at 119#. I have tried it, works well:)

Update: I just saw your link to the previous post. Thank you.

It would be helpful if you tell me where to find the setting to add delay. I know there's a setting in you turn on the sub, but is there another place?

Are you talking about this? Because that's not nearly enough control over the delay to set it properly.

They said, "You can adjust the audio delay by navigating to Device Settings > Sync Audio > Manual Sync. Gradually increase the delay to align the surround sound timing with the front speakers, ensuring all sound reaches your ears simultaneously."

I'm seeing those options for device settings, sync audio or manual sync on the WiiM Amp or WiiM Amp Pro. Those settings are available on the Ultra and Mini I have.

The closest thing I see is the Subwoofer On > Syncing Subwoofer and Speakers > Manual Delay Adjustment.

Yes, Amp and Amp pro do not have an audio sync section, so unfortunately that method does not work. For now, you can only do manual sync if you use Ultra as master.

If you make the Amp pro the master, you can use the audio sync feature on the slave device side by making the Pro or Pro Plus the slave. (However, as I recall, this is not the recommended method and may not work well.)

So, it seems what I said in the video still holds true.

Yes, only if you use a WiiM pro or pro+ as surround slaves, you can use delay for the surround channels

As I mentioned, it is indeed possible, but in my previous testing I ran into problems. Specifically, if manually sync, then ungroup, then link again, the sync may not be maintained.

Also, the problem may occur when linking Pro/Pro plus to other WiiM devices. (I believe this problem applies to all devices.)

In any case, it would be desirable to add a delay adjustment feature that is only enabled for Dolby playback.
