Firmware update 1.2.714817 update

Is there any way to see which version is currently installed, other than when installing the new version.

Hello,

I have a question why after updating the firmware of my WiiM Vibelink Amp to version v1.2.714817 my device is no longer visible in the WiiM Home app, the Wiim Ultra device is visible. I tried unplugging the WiiM Vibelink Amp from the mains, restarting the router, restarting the phone, turning Bluetooth off and on, turning off the VPN and still nothing, the device is not visible. Please advise.

Thank you and have a nice day

Vilda

Please advise
You could try factory resetting your amp by holding in the power button for 5 seconds + until the indicator light on the front starts to flash. Then open the app and give the amp a bit of time and it should appear.

I presume the vibelink is still working ok though?

Are you only using the WiiM app on one device? I know this latest release should allow it to show on more than one, but maybe there’s an issue there. I’d leave it for half an hour and if it doesn’t show up, raise a ticket to WiiM.

So I tried the factory settings, gave the amplifier time, but Vibelink did not appear in the app.
But even so, thanks

Yes Vibelink seems to be working, inputs can be switched, volume control also works and music plays.
I only have the app on one device.
I also tried to uninstall it for me, my son installed it, Vibelink doesn't appear for my son either.
Thank you

Have you changed the permissions on the WiiM home app?

I think 2 permissions had to be granted to the WiiM app for Android phones.

I didn't change anything, on Tuesday or Wednesday I was offered a Vibelink update. The update went well. After the update, the device appeared in Wiim Home, but could not be turned on or off, the Vibelink device said not connected, and then disappeared. Since then, it has not been visible.

Facilities nearby: Allowed, Last access 15:53

Location: Enabled, used within the last 24 hours.

Thank you for your answer

That's odd.

On my 2 Android phones, Vibelink displays correctly and can be powered on and off. Therefore, there seems to be no problem with the new firmware.

Just to be sure, please try turning off the 2 permissions on the WiiM app, then turn it on again and restart the app.

In any case, as another member said, please submit a support ticket.

When you open your phone's Bluetooth settings screen, do you see Vibelink listed as a connectable device?

It is not visible in me or the other device.
In that case, either Vibelink is not sending Bluetooth signal or the phone is not receiving a signal from Vibelink.
Does Vibelink not show up in Bluetooth settings when you place your phone near Vibelink?

So, please report it to the Support team.
(If there is no Bluetooth connection to Vibelink, it will not be able to send device logs).

@WiiM Support, @WiiM Team, @RyanWithWiiM,

@WiiM Support, @WiiM Team, @RyanWithWiiM,
I had my phone right next to Vibelink, the second phone and tablet also without finding the device. I've already written to support, so it's probably going to be a complaint? We'll see.

Solved!

I wrote to support for advice on my problem.

I followed their advice and the device finally appeared in the WiiM Home app again.

First, following their advice, I disconnected Vibelink from Turn off the power for about one minute,

He turned off the phone's Bluetooth, waited a while, and then turned it back on.

However, the result did not come.

So I made a second attempt and disconnected the Vibelink from the Turn off the power for about five minutes.

He turned on Bluetooth and searched for Vibelink and appeared in WiiM Home.

I'm enjoying perfect device and app to my full satisfaction again.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and have a nice day

Vilda
