Though I guess your request is tongue-in-cheek, if the Thermomix beeps when it’s done you can use an Amazon echo to detect that noise then play that track on the WiiM Sound. Useful too when the microwave or washing machine finishes its cycle ;)

We can ask about design theory, setup capabilities, or other topics. I can't promise answers, but we'll try to get to them all. Feel free to post them here or send them to me in private.

Can/will it be possible to pair up two WiiM Sounds with a WiiM Amp Pro to act as the two rear speakers in a 4.1 setup?

Thank you, Ryan, for this direct approach.
TBH what I am most afraid of is that your great products and comprehensive front end get messed up and cluttered with stuff that only a minority of people will ever need or even know what a certain setting is all about.
Please don‘t fall for those geeks just because they shout the loudest!

Is there a question in there? :)

Thank you.

Will the sound quality of the WiiM Sound benefit from connection with the WiiM Ultra, using the Ultra as streamer? Or does it perform better in its own?

Short answer: No

More elaborate:
You would bring an analogue signal via the 3.5mm aux jack into the Sound. This will be digitized for EQ and volume control in the Sound and then run through the Sound‘s DAC into its speaker. So you better use the streamer in the Sound right away.

Please persuade him to consider a portable variant with less kitchen-unfriendly speaker cloth a bit like the Audio pro battery speaker 😍

Hi @RyanWithWiiM

[1] Could you elaborate on the story and reasons behind adopting dual tweeters?

[2] Are there any plans to enable EQ application via Wireless Dolby?

[2-2] Are you considering adding a 3.1-ch configuration?

[3] Is the floor-standing 'WiiM Sound F' already in development?

[4] Will the WiiM Purple colour be released as a limited edition?

[5] Regarding the 2026 roadmap, are there any topics you can disclose?

[5] What colour are your underwear today?

Regards! 🤗

I work from home most days. Do with that what you will :)
Watch out, folks - he’s going commando!! 😲

On topic - I like Wiimer’s question about the 2026 roadmap. It’d be very cool even if they could provide a high level look at what’s in the works, I mean actually going into production vs just being considered (understanding what kind of a poopstorm such a thing could start if not handled carefully).

If I were in WiiM‘s shoes I wouldn‘t publish such a roadmap at all. All it does is raise expectations and give hints to competitors.
