I like it. Here it is next to the Sonos move that we will now sell. I still dread speaker cloth in the kitchen but it sounds good which is what matters. Shame richer sounds ship it in the retail box which arrived all banged up.
I received mine this afternoon. Really enjoying it. Have to agree Richer sounds needed to put it in another box to protect original packaging. Yep it really does sound good. Just need to get another so I can use them as surrounds.

Hey Ryan, bit of feedback for the dev teams. I understand there is a rework of the speaker grouping in the app planned. Will this allow us to group speakers together and then "hide" the constituent devices in the app and spotify connect (perhaps just burying them in a separate menu)? Our two WiiM sounds are effectively one speaker (L+R), and having both appear alongside the grouped version is a bit confusing for my parents.

I'm not sure, but I'll pass that suggestion along to the team for you!

If I recall (@Wiimer will keep us right), but when you group/link speakers in the WiiM home app, only the lead speaker shows in the Spotify connect menu?

Do the individual speakers show in Spotify as GoogleCast connections?
e.g. my Kitchen wiim is the lead in a wiim group, but still shows up as its own device due to chromecast. (As does the other device in the group, further down the list & not in the screenshot.)

Yeah if you group them in the app as hoc it shows up as (master) + (n of devices) but if you create a named group it shows up there as the group as well as individual speakers.

For us; this is the best implementation as these persistent groups allow us to select them without having to go into the app and create groups every time which is a godsend compared to Sonos so I hope any improvements to this process is opt in or only impacts paired speakers

A solution to the above problem would be to create a persistent group with an obvious name like "living room stere" rather than L, R and grouped devices, they'd know to always select that.
