Pricing & Availability

WiiM Sound launches in Q3 2025 on Amazon and select retailers. Stay tuned for pricing details, we'll announce them when the product becomes available. Full details at www.wiimhome.com.

I am sure the Sound will be available in all regions since it is a proper WiiM product and not a modified version of someone else's. The Audi Pro speakers weren't available in Europe either.
I have to disagree about the Audio Pro, slartibartfast, because I bought one back in late February from Soundtrack Technologies, Sweden.
I'm based in the UK, but I had no problem getting it (the A10 Wiim Edition ) from them - and for an excellent un-inflated price too!
All I had to do was switch the included "Euro-style" 2 pin mains lead for a UK one (the speaker end is simply a standard 3amp IEC 60320 C7 "figure 8" connector) - the voltage is the same as in the rest of Europe. Audio Pro had been quite helpful, telling me in an email on the 11th February that "We are sorry for any disappointment caused, but there seems to be a delay with the release of this model", and told me to keep an eye on their website. I did, but it doesn't ever seem to have been available directly from them! Towards the end of February, I simply searched for a supplier on Google, and found that Soundtrack Technologies were selling it.
However - re: the A10 - it's quite a good quality speaker, considering it's size, and by some judicious use of the WiiM Home app. eq. it can "do the job" very well indeed.
I only have one real "criticism" of the A10 - and it looks like the "Sound" is going to have the same issue: the fact that it is "mains" powered, and not (rechargeable) battery powered. What I was really looking for was a portable, battery powered, "quality" loudspeaker that was WiFi, as well as Bluetooth, capable.
I have had a portable, rechargeable-battery-powered UE MegaBoom for years, which is capable of playing loud, distortion-free, perfectly acceptable "Bluetooth quality" sound, and thought the WiiM edition A10 would, at last, provide this "icing on the cake".
Well it does - soundwise - but it isn't truly portable because of the power cable requirement!
Why on earth is it still not possible find a battery-powered, WiFi-capable, device?
It isn't as if the WiFi capability would be a HUGE extra drain on power resources, surely?
If WiiM's "Sound" did this, it would finally "tick all the boxes" - for me, at any rate 😊

Not a WiiM Speaker, but the RIVA Arena, or newer Concert speakers can have a rechargeable battery pack fitted to the base, to make them portable.

They are WiFi, and Bluetooth compatible, and sound great.

Interesting! Will check them out. Much appreciate the info.
...... but my suggestion for the Wiim Sound still stands ;)😊
