Over the past few months, we've been blown away by the enthusiasm for WiiM Sound, from the conversations on the forums to the energy and feedback at shows. It means so much to see how excited our community is.

However, we want to share an important update: while WiiM Sound is beginning to roll out in select international markets, U.S. availability is temporarily delayed. This is due to factors outside our control, specifically, the ongoing government shutdown, which has paused standard FCC authorization procedures.

We know many of you have been eagerly waiting, and we sincerely...

Government shutdown ended, so hopefully the FCC can get this approved and the US market will see it soon. Hoping for more purchase options than Amazon!

I won't hold you to it haha. Thank you- I bought some black Sonos speakers to get me by for now but it's made me realize I really need white for the kitchen. Hoping they are out before February. Either way, excited to hear them in action!

This might seem like a strange question, but what would happen with the display if the speaker is turned upside down? Would the display also turn upside down so it is still readable?

Why I ask this? At this moment, I have a Bluesound Flex in my garage, mounted on the top of the wall, with its control buttons facing down, so I can still change volume/tracks/play/pause music on the device itself.

No, it doesn’t turn. Guess it might need an accelerometer or such which I don’t think it has. You still have the WiiM remote for control…

Though I guess your request is tongue-in-cheek, if the Thermomix beeps when it’s done you can use an Amazon echo to detect that noise then play that track on the WiiM Sound. Useful too when the microwave or washing machine finishes its cycle
