We have a bathroom mirror/cabinet with a built in bluetooth speaker, and now you mention it, it is a bit tinny.

A big question here is EQ.

My understanding is that an iPhone mic. won't be accurate, or useable, all the way down to 20Hz (or even the 25Hz of this sub).

Does the WiiM sub coe with its own calibration mic.? If you can room eq your whole set up, from the very bottom end of the sub all the way up to 20 kHz, that'd be useful.

Perhaps more important interesting is the 'Easy to set up and use' section from the new product page.

It says:

Step 1 - Plug the sub in.
Step 2 - Download and/or open the app.
Step 3 - Run "RoomFit™ Auto-Tuning" (calibrates your sub to the room).
Sep 4 - Pair the WiiM you want to use with the sub.

But that opens a whole can of worms. I presument you then (re)run calibration for your whole system. Will the app assign some bands of PEQ to the sub and others to the (for example) Ultra?

Will the sub have its own PEQ tucked away, and the room calibration on your app (after pairing) runs all ten bands PEQ on frequencies above the crossover?

Does the app choose the best crossover point, etc.?
