Congratulations 🎊
Finally, the introduction of AI 😄?!
This looks promising 😊

Not at launch, but I'll let the team know you're interested!
What about running multiple WiiM Sub Pros in mono, but with a multi-sub optimization algorithm (example) for a smoother low-frequency response across a wider listening area?
Might be a niche use-case - but perhaps not, if the unit price is affordable! :)

Could be something for the future!, I'll pass it on.

It'll be black only at launch, but I'll let the team know you're wife needs some options :)
You don´t want give a killer argument to her.... all the furniture is where I´d need it is white or in wood, and I hear her already swearing about the black "coffin" in the room

Now if they’d only made it so it fitted into that IKEA Kallax unit 😜🤣

I vaguely spoke about it one day with Harkpabst, but honestly an enormity seems to be forgotten... you are not listening to a low frequency... but a note, an instrument, etc... with therefore its harmonic load, etc... which explains why even low instruments are localizable ( except in very special cases.) I will let you realize the impact in the way of reconsidering this subwoofer-subject...

Stereo vs mono bass is a topic discussed over and over again online, with each camp having its proponents. While I'd like to avoid going down that rabbit hole here, I'll say that preference for one or the other depends on multiple factors, most important probably being how large a usable listening area you need.

For a single seat you might be able to get a smooth-ish low bass response with stereo subs, and gain some envelopment (IF the recording contains stereo content <80Hz at all).

If however you need to optimize for multiple seats that would be much more difficult with stereo bass, and arguably for good sound quality it is more important to get a smooth bass response (i.e. no nulls and no resonances) than it is to get spatially separated bass <80Hz.

Note again that many recordings won't even have any stereo content below 80Hz, while bass resonances and nulls will be audible with any recording containing *any kind* of content below 80Hz.

Some really interesting thoughts on all this were shared by dr. Floyd Toole recently, especially here and here.

Again, I'm sure people will disagree and that is fine too. :)

This is very interesting. So if I understand correctly, this will work with a WiiM Pro Plus wirelessly somehow? I am very intrigued. :)

invites you to observe a piano playing with a lot of energy at 42Hz "fa" and to observe its harmonic structure... ;-) and this is only talking about a single note... imagine a chord of low notes etc...
;-)
