...the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. In principle, it should be permissible—especially where people come together—to take a critical look at things. I think it's just naive to believe that, given the current direction of the company, we are dealing with a reputable streaming service, and it annoys me that the services that still behave reasonably fairly will most likely lose out in the long run. Of course, I could continue to close my eyes and be “happy,” but I'm not one of those people who close their eyes to reality. I currently see how Spotify treats artists among my circle of friends. Spotify is actively suppressing creativity and establishing art as purely a money-making business. Many young people will no longer be able to experience what I was able to experience in my youth. Soon, music will only come from a test tube. All this equality and superficiality is already getting on my nerves. If you think my comments are going too far, just ignore them and continue to see the world as it is not.

Are you aware that it's not Spotify you're blaming, but us Spotify users?

Please start anti-Spotify thread and bitch about it all you want. This is a thread about Spotify lossless. I'm fed up.

for me as one of those you've mentioned: it is my dedicated wish to blame you users!

qobuz. for example. and if the lower price is the reason they should think about what they get for this few bucks.

edit, checked it. for the bitrate-fetishists amazon music hd is available. for music first apple music is also an alternative.

Now this is just my own opinion

I have tried all streaming services and the main thing I take away is that you can look at all the numbers of bit rates etc but mastering of the recording is the most important thing
Most of my my music was recorded back when high res didn’t even exist.
I have spent a few weeks on Deezer and the FLAC 16/44 was good quality but I missed the random tracks Qobuz added when my playlist finished and connect
Now Qobuz customer service really annoys me but I will be paying for a year next month for the two reasons I mentioned
If someone has no choice or prefers to use Spotify that’s their choice and though I disagree with using them it’s none of my business
We all have free will and can do whatever we want with our money
Just my opinion and you can ignore me if you want 😊

Please can we keep this thread strictly on topic, this is Not a free for all have a go at Spotify thread.

If anyone feels strongly about this, then as suggested earlier, Please start an anti-Spotify thread elsewhere.
Sorry posted my opinion before reading I will now exit stage left 😜

Haven’t listened to this yet, but plan to after lunch

Edit: a so-so chat but it does surprise me a bit about some stuff they’re not aware of, like how things like Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect are implemented on streamers etc, and querying whether Deezer has a similar Connect mechanism (it doesn’t, just remote control of another Deezer app instance). Some valid points made though.
