I don’t think mix works on Spotify Connect irrespective of device.

I'm testing Spotify now (I currently have Tidal). Unfortuately, Spotify doesn't have Atmos (I have two music rooms - one stereo/WiiM and one multichannel) so I will probably keep Tidal. I also took a pass on Amazon, Apple due to the difficulty in streaming from my Mac desktop to the WiiM.

I don't use the Atmos feature often, so maybe I'll take a deeper look.

Does Spotify Mix also work on WiiM?

I wasn’t aware of its existence but just tried it out. It does not work via connect. Seems to run locally on the phone app so via Bluetooth or AirPlay it works but not via Spotify connect
