UMIK-1 arrived

Right we are "limited" to 4th order Linkwitz -Riley, which surely is a limitation, but it's just good enough for many situations.

Being able to set the crossover frequency, the filter order and the filter characteristic independently for the high pass and the low pass section would be great for us hard core tinkerers (and might steal some miniDSP revenue ;)). I really wouldn't mind to see this in a new "Advanced Subwoofer Settings" section. But it's not easier to set up for the beginner.

@khuntim, that means you don't have direct control over the filter steepness. It's just that combining the WiiM's low pass filter and any low pass filtering performed by the sub will inevitably result in a different steepness. You want to get the sub's filtering out of the way as much as possible.

Some subs have an LFE input (no filtering), which is independent from the RCA inputs. Some use one of the (usually) two RCA inputs as the LFE input and provide an additional switch. On some subwoofers the low pass frequency selection knob has a dedicated LFE or HT setting. Some subs just label one input as LFE but it's just a regular filtered input and the best you can do is tuning in the highest possible frequency. Go figure.
