Using as a transport

Dumb question, trying to connect ultra to a qutest dac, dac has rca's out to a Hegel pre amp, want to use ultra as a transport but I must have it set up wrong.. heads fried..

Don’t you have all your music under My Music? Documents seems a strange place, but no bother , as long as you point Minimserver at where the tracks are

It's a bit scattered for now...is this some kind of antivirus block? It's showing minimserver running in system tray but I can't open it from there...

Now that it’s set up, you should be able to see it under Home Music Share in the WiiM home app and navigate your collection from there

It's not there... how can I see my music collection in minimserver, I could before as I screenshooted it but when I right click nothing opens up..thanks..

Try “show log” to see if it’s still indexing your collection, or click properties or settings to see what it says. Minimserver requires your tracks to be properly tagged with artist, album, track etc info - I presume your tracks have this info?

Log seems ok, must be doing something wrong, I hit apply to this gregory isaacs album but it's not showing in my wiim app...edit I now have the main page up..am I just selecting each album?

You just seem to have selected that one folder contains the Gregory Isaacs album, you should have chosen the Downloads directory and it would have scanned that for all music files.

What shows in the WiiM Home app under Home Music Share? There should be an entry for Minimserver if your phone, WiiM device and NUC are all on the same network.

I did that album just as a trial to see if it turned up in the wiim app (it didn't)...most of my music is in "downloads" as u can see...there's no entry in home music share for minimserver....yet..

If your playlist doesn’t have full hierarchical filenames for the tracks, it’ll take your content directory as the root directory and try to find them from there.

Yeah, until it has indexed all your files and the status on the configure page shows as running. That's when you should see it in the WiiM Home app

It'll not change anything, it's just been scanning your file tags to make up the necessary tables for the views you should be able to see in the WiiM app. It'll ignore anything it things of as in error, like the playlist files it can't find

This dishes don’t give much beyond “scanning” , starting”, “running” etc.
Mine took 10-15 mins to index all my files (20-30k from memory) and was up and running and visible in the WiiM home app. Is your log file still filling?

Says library contains 5029audio files in 567 folders...nothing on wiim app

What does show under home music share on the WiiM app? Could you screenshot that please?

Again, are your phone, nuc and WiiM all on the same network? If you gave an android device, download bubbleupnp and see if that sees your Minimserver instal under Libraries and your WiiM under devices? Or if you have an iOS device, try the same with the mconnect app.
