Using as a transport

Dumb question, trying to connect ultra to a qutest dac, dac has rca's out to a Hegel pre amp, want to use ultra as a transport but I must have it set up wrong.. heads fried..

No, on your android phone to see if it can see your Minimserver install.

I’m hoping bubbleupnp can see your Minimserver install in the same manner it should show up on your WiiM app. Here’s my bubbleupnp screenshot where you can see my Minimserver install under libraries

Strange one. You might need to go thru the troubleshooting steps here https://minimserver.com/troubleshooting.html#My control point can't see MinimServer

Router off 5mins has got it showing up, nothing in wiim app, just turned nuc off for 5 mins

If bubbleupnp now sees it and your WiiM app and WiiM device are on the same network, maybe deleting and re-installing the WiiM app and rebooting your WiiM device might kick them into action too.

You don’t have any strange network setup, do you?

Just closing and re-opening.the WiiM Home app might be worth a try.

No sign of minimserver..

I was going to ask if you'd scrolled down the full page of library options (check the bleedin' obvious first) as the servers are below the Cloud providers, but it appears to be working now, at least in BubbleUPnP.

Whilst the WiiM app does still have some discovery problems I've never had any with MinimServer, and now that it's working in BubbleUPnP I'm not really sure what to suggest. I don't think rebooting the WiiM will make a difference as it's the phone making the connection, but I suppose it can't hurt.

Just checking; you now have BubbleUPnP and the WiiM Home app on the same Android phone don't you?

We have progress...I rebooted the app, upon starting I checked my works phone that's much newer and hey presto it's now showing ..maybe the issue was my Samsung that's getting on a bit,

Ages since I’ve been in Richersounds, I haven’t had the need for a long time… Hopefully they’ve got a few employees well clued up on WiiM gear, or at least members of the forum….
