While the new high and low pass filters appeared ok on my Android app, I had to kill and reload my iPad app for them to appear there

Is this hi/low filter can be used in conjunction with rc?
I'm not sure what you're asking for, but I don't think so - LP/HP is a filter added to the PEQ; after running the RC, you can edit the saved PEQ to add LP/HP.

Did it made difference by changing those to hi/low filter after rc? I would rather see in subwoofer section with both hi and low pass filter much like mini dsp.

I have 2 subs connected to the Amp's sub-out now, so I have no plans to use LP/HP at the moment..

If you are asking for independent low pass (subwoofer) and high pass (mainspeakers) filters for more flexible integration, then no, this change won't do that.

The PEQ is applied to the signal prior to splitting it between mains and sub. Adding, say, a 70 Hz low pass filter and a 50 Hz high pass filter (overlapping) would effectively lead to no output at all.

If the RoomFit algorithm also makes use of the HPF and LPG now available for manual PEQ is not known yet. But I doubt it. WiiM made no announcement in this direction. Also, there's usually not much use for a (4th order) LPF or HPF since the available target curves don't ask for this. This should be easy to check, just perform a room correction measurement and look at the created filters.

So far - I think - the algorithm doesn't even make use of shelving filters, which could be very helpful in many cases. But only if the resti g Q values are correct and also shown correctly. I really think there would be much more to gain from adding shelving filter support to the RoomFit algorithm.

Yes, LP/HP is mainly a feature to meet the request of users who want to operate a main speaker and a subwoofer (or bi-amp) in multi-room playback using 2 WiiMs.

Exactly. It's WiiM's @Wiimer feature. :D

Let's see how the integration with the upcoming Sub will be done for various WiiM devices.

But I feel a bit sorry for the team, as I've already quit Multiroom..😅

For this to work perfectly, I would need the ability to constantly synchronise (linkage) the volume of the 2 WiiMs.
